On a hot dry Twizel afternoon in February 2016, our Dio Rowing Club won its first Jubilee Cup at Maadi, with our U18 Eight storming home. A feat they'd go on to repeat in 2017.

We want to celebrate the ten-year anniversary of this amazing accomplishment in style by kicking off a fundraising drive that will culminate in a summer evening event on:

Wednesday, 11 February 2026 6.30pm – 8.30pm, held at Dio. Canapés and drinks provided as part of your ticket.

Along with celebrating the 2016 and 2017 crews, the Rowing committee is running a raffle ($25 a ticket, open now) and there will be a live auction on the night. Tickets to the event can be purchased for $20.

The funds raised will go towards a much needed new four for our club and the latest and greatest technology to help our girls and our boats go faster!

Anyone and everyone from the Dio Rowing community is invited, past, present and even future rowers and their whānau are all welcome.
